26,000 Dominoes Toppled at BMAC 15

The 15th Annual Domino Toppling Extravaganza took place on Sunday, October 16, at the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center, and it was a huge success! After 2.5 days of building with Chris Wright, Nathan Heck, and Brady Dolan in the quaint town of Brattleboro, Vermont, we managed to set up nearly 26,000 dominoes… and it ALL fell according to plan! We recreated cartoon characters like SpongeBob and Buzz Lightyear, and even used some fun non-domino items including ball-pit balls, a bubble machine, and a real pineapple for SpongeBob’s house! Take a look at the behind the scenes video to see how we managed to put it together on the spot without any pre-planning (minus one fieldplan). An interesting piece of trivia is that BMAC is actually the world’s longest-running domino event. This was their 15th consecutive year hosting their Domino Toppling Extravaganza, and I’m sure there will be many more. Thanks to all who came - it was so lovely getting to meet more of the domino community there! If you haven’t seen it yet, take a look at the final falldown video here!
