3D DOMINO PYRAMID WORLD RECORD BROKEN
One of the most difficult world records to break is the 3D domino pyramid, due to its size and high fail factor (one wrong move could topple everything), but on May 8th, Andreas Zauner from Austria accomplished it! The record-breaking pyramid used 20,336 pieces, which beat the previous 5-year long-standing record of 18,447 dominoes. According to Zauner, the pyramid took 8 days to set up, and without help from any other builders. Currently, this record attempt is not yet officially verified by Guinness World Records; after an entry submission, it can take weeks to work through the verification process, but the chances are looking good for Andreas! Take a look at the falldown video, which was featured on Austrian news channels. Congratulations to Andreas on breaking such an impressive record!
