New Kapla Tower World Record!
Another official Guinness World Record is in the books! This past week, a team of up to 18 builders worked over 4 days to construct the world’s tallest tower made of wooden toy blocks! With 100,000 Kapla planks, the team, led by Benjamin Crouzier (KaplaBen), reached an astounding tower height of 27 meters (88.5 feet). I had the pleasure of helping with this build, and I must admit, this was one of the coolest projects I’ve been a part of - the visual spectacle of the tower was unlike anything I’ve ever seen, and was truly a breathtaking work of art - one that I can only give major props to Benjamin for designing. On June 27, spectators at London Olympia watched in awe as the world record tower magnificently collapsed in a matter of seconds! In case you missed the event, you can watch the replay of the livestream here, and the official falldown video on KaplaBen’s channel here!
